Time to Start

this is a poem I retrieved from the archive of life written in 1986

I know it's time to make a start
To feel downright from the heart
To open our minds and let them grow
To change the world as we know
I have a vision true and bright
To make this world a better sight
To heal the earth and what it's needing
Stop the war stop the bleeding
Clean the water clean the air
Teach the money to start to care
The time is now we cannot wait
Lets make it happen before it's too late
