Fearless

 

Fearless and strong I stand in your Light

Filled with understanding no reason to right

Many times in life I've been with doubt

Your silent impression, made me find out

Now I sense atomic omnipresence all around

Pure loving compassion and what I have found

When I am calm centre and true to myself

I see complete situations obvious and stealth

How each scenario comes back to one easy choice

Loving compassionate understanding will be my voice

Reading this aloud really depicted the image in my head well. The tone and the words used were good, and the structure was exactly right. It allows the reader to follow it without having to decipher it too much, until the end. I liked this quite a bit

I like this a lot. There is so many pieces out there that focus poetry on the negative side of emotion that it is refreshing to read such a positive sounding piece. My favorite line is the last one because in many ways if we are happy with something we will speak with a compassionate form of understanding.

Greg, I really enjoy the positive aspect of your work. "Fearless and strong I stand in your light"... love that line. Much strength in those words. I must ask you, do you practice yoga? I ask because of your reference to calm and centered ... true to self and being able to see with complete clarity. I practice yoga and those lines are very characteristic of its overall purpose.
