Rings Of Smoke Inspired By BrightEyes

Rings Of Smoke Inspired By BrightEyes

A Poem by Greg Skura

As I watch, my rings of smoke
Your sweet words, rise to my throat
From my heart through throat to mind
These descriptions are rare to find
Your vivid images, create pleasure
This emotion, I will treasure
Your depth of expression is pure, and true
So with this poem, I Thank You!!!!

hey, I like this poem. I like rings of smoke and I'm glad someone finally wrote about them. I envy the person who can blow a smoke ring. The only bad thing I have to say about this poem is that I think sometimes you use commas too much. but nothing wrong with the wording or the rhymes.. nicely done.

Thank you, Greg. This is a very sweet write and I am touched. We put our words upon the pages to hopefully touch another soul, so this means a lot to me.

I absolutely adore the first two lines. Something about them really gets me. Good job!
