If the Sky

If the Sky

A Poem by Green Mist
"

My life is at its most difficult and challenging. I've been abandoned by my parents and family, I've lost my religion and faith, income is low, and I have no home. 18 years old. But if the sky...

"
But if the sky failed the sun into its glory, then not a soul would see the light
But if the sky were never dark, then the moon couldn't tell its story
But is the sky could always speak, mountains would never peak
But if the sky were always tallest, what would become of flight?
But if the sky never did war, green buildings would never soar
But if the sky said why, when, what for?
Maybe it would never see the door

Author's Note

Green Mist
I was inspired by the rising sun this morning. It's beautiful the things you can see when you have new eyes. Enjoy.

About
I have a sincere passion for words. Some say that construction is designing buildings and putting them together; I like to think sentences are a little like buildings and that each word, even each tin.. more..
