Not Just Words

A quick write

These words they come and go
through my mind sometimes fast sometimes slow
I try to write it down so I won't forget
but at the times it just flies and I'm not even set
set to write these feelings that need to be expressed
not ready to unleash these feelings that cant seem to rest
I'm a thinker and thoughts are plentiful
most of the time it's ugly but sometimes beautiful
words just words they might seem to you
but that is not even close to being true
they're memories, thoughts, that can't be left unheard
thats why I put it on a paper so I can preach these words
give them the freedom that they long so much for
after being stuck in my head behind a locked door
spitting like fire from my soul
these feelings can finally be let go..
