A strained relationship between a Father & Son..

Don't know what you want from me

This is my life and "MY" is the key word

"Live your own life" a saying you obviously never heard

You tell me, do what you want to do

But who's making my decisions? It's you

Just leave me the f**k alone

Because love you never ever shown

You only have negative things to say

Never a good job son or thats the way

Don't know why you call me your son

Because we never get along and the fighting aint ever done

Fists thrown, tables broken

Bruises on my face but it's my childhood you've stolen

Get it through your head, I won't ever be a doctor

But I know I will never be a broke a*s mother f****r

Out of your mouth is always put downs and no put ups

So I jus wanna say it straight, I'm leaving so shut the f**k up!

Dude .. I can so relate. Trust .. Like you once told me when I had one of those fights with my dad, he still loves you. I guess our dads have weird ways of showing it, but I know for a fact your dad loves you and always will. Don't waste the days with him arguing. Instead sit down with him in front of his ancient, but favorite television, or something, and spend some father son quality time. If he's not already proud of you, he will be cause I know that you made a drastic turn around from your past to where you are now. You have a good head on your shoulders, and I know you're going somewhere in life.
