I was with someone who always lied and treated me like crap.

Betrayals light is upon me,
Why wont you set it free?
My tears will drown it out of you,
But you shed no tears for me

This deceit is worse than most,
One that cuts me deep
I am here and I am listening,
yet I'm silenced as you speak

The words you say turn into lies,
I can see there's much to teach
I try to squeeze it out of you,
But the truth is out of reach

This is what I get for believing
How did you get so cold?
How long have you been lying?
What stories have been untold?

If I am to be open,
then you must be open too
Don't break me into pieces,
