Sacrifice To Me

Sacrifice To Me

A Poem by Green Ranger

Sacrifice to Me

I sit here, fists in a clench.

I long. Long for the embrace.

The embrace I want so dearly.

So warmly does it feel. I need it.

I search. Search for the one to give it to me.

Unsuspecting eyes follow me on my quest.

Candidates come and go, as I decide their fate.

No one will do. No one to satisfy my longing.

I sit. Solemnly awaiting your arrival.

I begin to think, I should give up.

It seems I let snobbery get the best of me.

Could I just settle for anyone?

The longing. It builds up inside my body.

I must have you. I need what you give.

Warm is how I’ll feel. Better. Fuller.

You’ll sacrifice yourself to me. And you’ll like it.

Sickly now I look, waiting for your embrace.

My deteriorating health is the price I must pay.

I need you NOW. I cannot wait.

Too see your face would be relief.

Just as I decide, this search is futile,

I turn my head, for one last glace.

Nothing there to catch my breath.

Turning back, finds me in awe.

Finally, my dreams come true.

I rush over, hiding my excitement.

I must stay with you, to give me company.

And you welcome me, to your side.

I order wine, to make it easy.

We converse, I listen mostly.

You give me opinions, I give you facts.

My powers of persuasion, leave you in awe.

As you drink, I sit and listen.

Now, you’ll do whatever I ask.

I lead you out, into the alleyway,

Until the light, no longer flashes.

I hold off urges, even though you pester.

We must wait, till the time is right.

You’ve no idea, the will I employ.

The longing is great. But the end, greater.

Finally, its enough. I turn around, to your surprise.

I grip you tight, around the neck.

You grip me back, in drunken stupor.

You whisper to me, meaningless now.

I uncover your neck, for my lips to grasp.

You beg me on. So on I shall.

You feel me bite, and moan and quiver.

I hear you cry, your soundless cry.

I’ve had my fill, my need fulfilled.

You lie there, spent. Energy drained.

Your use to me, has been complete.

So I leave you there, in death’s embrace.
