Fallen Tears

Tear stained poem. 
I end the call
The news is bad
Eyes glisten
Can't hold back
Tears stream
Moistened cheeks
~
Trying to hold on
To a string of hope
Hope that God
Works a miracle
In your favor
~
But it's hard to
Hold on to this hope
Knowing how bad it is
Knowing the cancer is consuming you
Bit by bit

For those of you who believe in prayer, please pray for my friend Sonia. Your prayers are much appreciated!
Update - I found out over the weekend that Sonia will be going through very intense chemo in the next 2/3 months. And at some point will probably need to have a couple surgeries done.

Wow...feeling the pain. Its been long since i prayed...god (to me atleast) doesn't exist, or he just wont take my calls. I wish you and Sonia all the best.

Ooch! i too have lost family to this disease and according to statistics chances are we
will all lose someone or even our own lives to this miserable disease. I'm sorry you have
to deal with watching it consume a loved one, may God be with you and yours!

I'm sorry you've had experience with this! It is terrible. I've had several family and friends get cancer, sadly very few of them have survived it.
