Deadly DanceA Poem by GreenEyedPoetWritten 1/19/15. Dancing with my past.My soul is like a grave I've collected so many skeletons over the years It's starting to look like a murder scene here I keep trying to bury them In a garden under roses Be careful that you don't get to close While trying to examine the beauty Or you might be pricked A kiss of
death comes upon them And the flowers wilt and die Scattered bits and pieces Find their way out Allowing small glimpses Into my world I end up intertwined in a deadly dance With my skeletons The dance of past and present And I'll have this dance with you again Until the season is ripe I'll plant you in those flower beds when the time is right Even if only for a night (End)
