Amazing grace

Being blind seeing you for the first time was’

 Numbing for my heart to feel the power of your grace

It was your sweetened sound that saved me,

I was lost, finally found

You taught my heart to feel, the love I now know I can contain

I was the wretch, for the longest time I was slowly casting out everything

Including you

It was your smile

Your laugh

You soul

Your grace…

That truly saved a wretch like me

I feel the peace that I have longed for,

I can fall asleep knowing that it wasn’t a god that saved me

It was four girls

They will remain my reason to strive for another tomorrow

 The scars on my arms will remain,

but the scars on my heart are being healed slowly one at a time

the thanks I owe them can never be fulfilled

I owe my life to the pieces of grace that fell from heaven

With out them I wouldn’t have a life to live…
