sometimes

the words come to you

and although

you do not know them

they ask to be written

and there they are

as if

they were always there

living inside of you

the expression

of things

you did not know

had names

I can so relate to this. When rereading older poems that I've posted here "where did that come from" usually pops into my head. Grief and sadness is usually the trigger that has me reaching for a pen.
