DetailsA Poem by Lexi Jackson
Have you ever noticed;
The holes on the moon Sand in a lagoon Or the pollen in a flower? Have you ever seen; The cracks on a lip A freys in a rip Or the brickwork on a tower? All these things I notice first, If I didn't I might just burst. The way my life is well perceived, My world is full of the sad and grieved. Take into account the luck you got, Since your day one you've had a lot. Compared to many starving each year, To my own green eyes I shed a tear. Details in life have brought me afar, Each beauty and gem what wonders they are. Or the suffering caused by our greed and hate, We can stop this now, it's never to late. © 2013 Lexi JacksonFeatured Review
