A Sneaking Suspicion

A Sneaking Suspicion

A Poem by Green Regol
"

Ever had a guy like you? Ever wish he would stop?

"
You are so inconspicuous,
Standing in an army guy's
Camouflaged jacket
As you press your back against
A bright white wall.

No one would ever know you were there -
Not one of the thirty people who sit
Directly in front of you.
Your silent, depressing face
Doesn't drag any attention to you -
Not at all.

Nor would anyone notice you
Inching your way into my view
And attempting to play the song I used to play
On the piano all the time.
And then when you finish butchering that,
You would play the songs we'd sing,
Fiddle with the pendant 'round your neck -
A copy of the one I'd bought myself -
And stare at me.

But no one notices;
You're just so incredibly sneaky
When you turn one-hundred and eighty degrees in your seat
To watch me from up close.
You are totally inconspicuous
When you all-out stare.

He's inconspicuous, but you notice him, right? you notice him because he is annoying you? but he is waring you down and you are beginning to like him? I cant actually tell its a bit of a contradiction~~ Or is this how it works, forgive me I'm just a guy. Great write though love your style
