The Player

The Player

A Poem by Green Regol
"

old poetry dump, this is a song

"

Through the walls of the apartment,

I can hear the piano playing.

I can tell what your words are saying.

This is

A melody of broken arms

And golden kisses from the stars.

One from the one that makes you happy,

And another from that one that keeps you warm.

Keep the music playing,

Now, just you keep on playing,

'Cause I don't know how.
