Once We're Good To Go

Once We're Good To Go

A Poem by Green Regol
"

That awkward moment when you start seeing someone, and it's not quite a thing yet, so you gotta calm your tits and start thinking with your head.

"

Gotta tell my heart “Wait,”
Before I get my hopes up.

Are you as old as you say you are?
I have you prove you’re legal,
So my heart squeals, “Okay!”

But,
Gotta tell my heart, “Calm your tits,”
Although it’s too late and I’m already excited,

Are you clean or will you kill me?
You show me what the doctor’s’ve shown you,
And we’re good to go.

But,
Gotta ask my heart, “Why do you do this?”
I had no reservations this time.

This time it was you.
