Whispered Kisses

Whispered Kisses

A Poem by Rev. LeRoy James
"

Prompt: metaphorical word bank: whisper, crush, kiss, dark

"
Lost in the hard, savage embrace of passion;
our pressure of need smashing coherent thought.

In the absence of light, only our touch is needed;

shades of shadow revealing endless caresses.

Our lips meet for the sweetest communication of all,

our breath shared essence to essence.

An almost silent sussuration of quiet words

our subtly sexual hymn to love.
