A Sombre Sunset.A Chapter by GraycieyChapter 2

Two weeks later on a dull Saturday evening, there was a cool breeze and the crimson sky seemed so relaxing, i was doing an arithmetic assignment administered by my grandma, then suddenly i heard gun shots. As it is normal with my sympathetic system i hid under the table, scared! My mummy came for me, grabbed me tightly and took me to the basement.. Where my grandma was waiting. Grandma said 'run, run till u get to the vicars house and give him this letter.' I could still hear shots being fired. I heard my father yelling 'i love u princess.' 'RUN!' my mum said as she opened a door i had never seen before in the basement & gave me a torchlight. 'I love you.' The last words i heard before that door closed. It was an underground tunnel. So as an obedient girl. I ran. I ran. I ran soo fast. Tears welled up in my eyes. What was going on? The tunnel lead directly outside the Vicar's house which was just outside the townsquare. I knocked on his door frantically. It was already night time. He opened the door quite hurriedly. I just hugged him. Then gave him the letter. After a short while, he did the sign of the cross and said it is time. He then took 3 already packed bags that had clothes © 2013 Grayciey |
