Signs

Signs

A Poem by Gray Witch
"

There are some I NEED to talk to and others - not so much ...

"

Signs

No one wants to talk with me,

I guess I really can’t blame them.

There are subjects taboo and feelings just so

Close to the surface they linger.

No one wants to chance an encounter,

Be the cause of more pain.

So it’s easier just to be quiet and refrain,

From talking on subjects,

More controversial than weather.

It’s suddenly bleak and it’s partly my own fault,

Speaking English might help

Or, just confuse it even more…

Now how can I fix this conundrum I’ve made?

Email was the best, but busy they are.

Anyway how does one deal,

With this issue long distance?

Prayers set aside,

It’s overwhelming to me also…

I want to talk. I don’t want to talk.

How can anyone decipher,

My mixed messages without

Being a mind-reader, clairvoyant,

A mystic, or ESP specialist?

Intuitive actually, is a skill they possess…

Also knowing to whom,

I am presently referring

Would help them to guess

When I write in the future.

Lately, however,

They are the only audience I seek.

I trust them to be able to

Help my words to unfold,

Find hidden meanings and

If you think this confusing,

You should spend some time,

Locked inside my brain…

My subconscious just waved

Her hands high in the air …

Supplicating surely,

Giving up understandably

We each fashion our normalcy

From the crazy within…
