Suddenly SundayA Poem by Gray WitchIf all was right in my world, would my words flow as freely?Suddenly Sunday . . .
Suddenly, Sunday Once again, it gives
meaning To blue skies and white
clouds, Drifting merrily by…
Long lost sojourns,
however Occupy my mind’s eye Corrupting reality, Distorting the way…
Still, I’m not a
prisoner, Caught in a mindweb, Struggling surely With a need to get clear…
Only today, Sundays have
meaning, Unlike, those of past
days, God, in his heaven, We rejoice here on
earth…
Used to be darker, Uneasy, and anxious, Not knowing, what would
happen, On the long way back home…
Reconciliation is
difficult, Many times,
heartbreaking, How could one person, Be both saviour and more…?
The loss, I am feeling, Although true, is
deceiving, The mind plays its
tricks, My heart, follows suit…
Is forgiveness what’s
missing, Is that really the key? Do I need to forgive
him, Or is it myself, I need
free…?
Birds in the greenery, Sing, voices uplifting, Clouds floating desolate, Create my paradise
remixed…
