Kaleidoscopic Visions

Kaleidoscopic Visions

A Poem by Gray Witch
"

Communing with nature, Take a seat and observe

"

Kaleidoscopic Visions

The smell of the roses,

Mr. Lincoln and Elle

Privet hedges turning white

Perfumes waft cloyingly

Magic snowdrops sprouting

Shy peonies and hyacinths

Perennial potherbs

Colour the horizon

Communing with nature

Take a seat and observe.

Whisper voices resound

Vibrant and lyrical

Clichés so elemental

Be it heart, soul or deeper

Profound wisdom expounds

Spring blossoms endearing

Rain soaked landscapes renew

The mind second guessing

Dreams visions enchanting

Lifts heart’s stark realism

Not all is flourishing

Nightshade is a poison

Bella Donna delude

Choose carefully my friend

Sum and substance utters

Kaleidoscopic visions

On that very faint thread

Listen closely it counts

Whining and stalling

Life and death can be whole

Predestined and ordered

We all follow a path

If you are wondering what THIS is 'about"...."I really have no idea what it is about either...It stemmed however from my penchant for writing disturbing pieces dealing with my discovery of my personal decades old sexual abuse and coming to terms with it... I vowed I would write something lighter and stop all the whining ... Voila!"
