LOST MEMORIES

Is it just me, or do others

Not remember their childhood lives?

I remember bits and pieces,

But I have very few clear visions.

Reason masks over-riding fears

While the ghosts hovering linger.

Just behind doors unopened

They sing to me still temptingly,

Limiting my view, struggling

To re-think a childhood buried.

While the ghosts hovering linger,

Reason masks over-riding fears.

Poltergeists have names to be sure

Directing my thoughts to the shade

Fearful of horrors to be found

While baring my self to the task.

Ghosts

Hovering

Linger

Well, I know about those hovering ghosts, and I'm truly saddened by the fact. One as brave and strong as you shouldn't be held back ill-mannered spirits.
