SLAYING DRAGONS

 

 

 

 

Chosen to help

Chosen to hinder

Chosen to step in, when others refuse.

 

Chosen to love

Chosen to touch

Chosen to obsess, when knowing it's wrong.

 

Some are stronger

Some are weaker

Watching them artfully, mask their intentions.

 

Some will cry out

Some never manage

Monsters lay traps, to waylay the weak.

 

Today is the day

Long time a'coming

Truth shouted loudly this dragon will slay!

A interesting poem. I'm reading the series of books on the "Games of Thrones." I'm on the last book. George martin is a very good writer. I love myth and story. I like the flow of thoughts and the desire in the poem. To slay a dragon is dangerous and hard. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
