On binded knee

On binded knee

A Poem by GrayHalwk
"

Some times one feels as though know one is listening when we pray. Or loos our faith along the way, or don't see the Since in it all.

"
Walking and talking to ones self,
Trying to put the past on the shelf,
Lost in space,
Drunk with time,
Walking unmung men,
Who are children again,
Into the night,
Without a doubt,
Lost again,
Dancing in purgatory,
Or in God's lavatory,
Whispers of the shadow's of death,
Wile dinning in the refugee,
Of a lost time,
Once you was mine,
And loosing you was my only crime,
Hopping for a here's welcome,
In the hall's of Valahara,
Or a place at the masters feet,
But seeing the holocaust,
And all that was lost,
There is no victory,
In life's history,
As the Angels cry,
Their lullaby,
We all live and die,
In the circle of life,
But in the wind,
There is change,
And you'll see rainbow's again,
Though living in the concrete jangle,
You'll swerve,
The stars don't come out to play at night,
And the fireflies just die in the street light,
And the corner store is no more,
Though your sister was a first rate w***e,
She's now a member of a prominent business man,
And her past is no more,
And going to church,
Is a first rate lie,
And a brother who was once a child molester,
Now a well respected child savor,
And philanthropist,
Saying goodbye,
To the boy of his youth,
Robbing and stealing,
From the instant,
Was once his way of life,
And as.with so many,
Telling story's,
Of a stolen life,
Not his own,
At the Baptist church,
Wile chasing his preacher's wife's skirt,
And telling his relegus friend of his neighbors dirt,
Why pray,
When it's just junk mail,
Anyway's,
That stokes the firs of hell,
Knowing all of,
Or most of,
What mankind has done,
In the name of fun,
I know in the end times ,
Jesus will run,
As he throws up his hands,
And says depart from me,
I know ye not,
And man's soul will rots away,
To a said country song,
As the bells toll,
Another Rock-n-Roll song,
Storms come and go,
We grow old,
Wile the band plays on,
As I talk to myself,
Waiting,
For the crazy man,
To answer me,
Knowing I'll never get God on the phone,
Maybe he is too busy,
To listen to me,
Or trying to get through all his junk mail,
Or trying to figure out how to save mankind,
From a certainty prison sentence,
Known as,
A life of hell,
