My world
Odd, sarcastic Theories brimming with Strange ideas Annoying partners Ex-wives demanding Money Food Me I'm falling No one sees my pain It's personal I keep to myself But I wish Someone would ask So I'd spill the secrets I need A friend I'm still falling Into a world Of pain Sorrow An absence of love No one stays long enough To understand To know To care There's a new detective With light dark skin Black hair, curly in a ponytail A smirk A face that furrows With the same expression Eyes, the color of mud But the good mud The kind you enjoy After a rain He's smart And quirky And odd Hard to be friends with But opens up to you He cares He knows He listens He understands His name is Odafin Tutuola Or just Fin I told him mine John Munch Completely different I like his name It tells a story Like him Fin is a light At the end of my dark tunnel He makes me laugh Listens to my theories Doesn't hold back Criticises me When he's supposed to He pulled me out Of the abyss Of pain Sorrow Absence of love Odafin Tutuola is an angel An odd guardian Who helps He's my partner In crime In life © 2016 GrapeVineAuthor's Note
