The Ballad of Wall Street (We're screwed!)A Poem by Beatrice Boyle (Grandma Bea)If this were'nt so dire...it would be hilarious! Heaven help us now! The Ballad of Wall Street (We’re Screwed!) All the king’s horses And all the king's men Can't put Wall Street Together again! So greedy were they Those big fat cats Now scurrying around Like drowning rats They took your money Without a thought Though you couldn't afford The house you bought They said "don't worry You'll be fine, Just sign your name On the dotted line!" Now they are crying And singing the blues Cause the time has come For paying their dues Now greedy bankers Are asking US To bail them out Without a fuss! This gang of thieves Is really shrewed So Joe the taxpayer Once again is SCREWED! Copyright©2008 Beatrice Boyle (All rights reserved)
