A Brand New WorldA Poem by Beatrice Boyle (Grandma Bea)We are on the brink of a new era of peace and understanding...let us hope others will follow our lead. God Bless America!
A Brand New World Give me you’re tired You’re poor In spirit Longing to be free The time has come We are equal, Black and white A miracle has come To be Brothers and sisters All the same Discrimination is gone We were all To blame Let us stand together Side by side Lest others try to Stem the tide Prejudice has no place In our country’s Bold new face Let us lead the Nations Again anew To a better world Where freedom Rings true! Our country once again Is whole As Lochinvar assumes His role One nation, for one And all We’ve finally heard Freedom’s call! Copyright© 2008 Beatrice Boyle (All rights reserved)
