Below the Apple Tree

Below the Apple Tree

A Poem by Graffiti

Take me to the place of soft embrace
Take me to the land of God
Burry me down below the apple tree
so my body may feed it

Give me up onto the earth
So I might be useful one last time
A patch over my chest so
my mother may not see me bleed
Lower my body below the tree

Weep not for me for my time has come
Weep not for my soul for it's eternal
Angels take my soul onto God's judgement
I am no saint I am no sinner
I am a man

My soul will never die
I'll live on forever more
Below the Apple tree I sleep
Weep not for me
My time with you was paradise
