Her Darkness

Her Darkness

A Poem by Gracie.M

Cool, damp and black,

She is trapped inside the belly of a whale.

She had accepted her fate.

Gave up on getting help,

Gave up on yelling out to people,

Who weren't actually there.

Please:

Be with her in the night;

As she reaches out in the dark,

She will be reminded by your warmth,

That she is not alone.

Everything will be okay.

This was good Gracie. It had a hint of mystery to it, for me. Your last line was a great conclusion.

A lonely walk with sorrow without realizing we're not alone. Good read and write.

Someone's crying for help? Help her. Her dark nights maybe lessen if you show even little shadow of your light. Let her feel you are with her.

Nice work.
