Let Love Strip You Bare

Let Love Strip You Bare

A Poem by Lynn Mariposa
"

Villanelle. "Let my kiss steal your air, And fingertips caress your thighs.."

"

Don't give me that blank stare

Let passion rise

Let love strip you bare.

Fragments do not show what is there

Behind half-closed eyes

Don't give me that blank stare.

Beneath calm is a deeper layer

Reason no longer applies

Let love strip you bare.

Let my kiss steal your air

And fingertips caress your thighs

Don't give me that blank stare.

Run barefoot, give your heart without care

Take a risk, compromise

Let love strip you bare.

In your ear, I whisper a dare

Live with no pretense, no lies

Don't give me that blank stare

Let love strip you bare.

About
I immerse myself into the Void; there my brittle bones give way to primal forces of creation. There I become a dancer, a lover, a villian, a raving lunatic, a thief, an innocent...reborn again and a.. more..
