Kaleidoscope

A Poem by Shandra Sun
"

What is reality after all?

"

Kaleidoscope

Every time I lift a veil, there's a new reality underneath, as parallel mirrors reflecting never ending stories. As soon as I unravel an illusion, I walk into another web of lies we call existence, a kaleidoscope of infinite options, where I lose my sense of being.
So many voices telling different tales. All of them so credible. How do I know which one to trust? How to be sure I don't get lost in this staggering labyrinth?
But the most amazing thing is this river of joy flowing from somewhere deep within. An undefiled source of powerful Light, telling me there's no end, neither a begin. Then my cautious heart listens and rejoice. Because I'm free to make the choice.

the colors of the collective conscious is an infinite spectrum... it is truly organic much as understanding is when you (as you have said in this poem) come to this realization and allow your mind to be open definitions change constantly and would we want it any other way? What I love about how your pondering unfolds -- you start as if seeking "answers" (from the madness) and you end up recognizing the one thing (love/joy/light) that transcends all this chaos. In the USA, there are many forces that would have us distracted by all that's twisted & unfair & ill-defined. But fighting all these fights will not get us back into balance. Your poem leads us to what will (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
