Same Old Song

Same Old Song

A Poem by Gracefool_Lyn

I feel lost

And so alone

Like there's nowhere to run

And my heart is stone

I'm the quiet one

But all I want is to scream

That's not really me

I must be living in a dream

Everything I do is at fault

I'm always the one that's wrong

I'm tired of being stranded here

Always singing the same old song

This piece brings a question to mind, who determines who's at fault in the game of life? Who decides if an action is right or wrong. Is it the others that surround, or is it the self inside?
I felt that this piece contemplates the feeling of being caged in a world where nothing seems to be working. Yet, is this cage in our heads, or is it in the practical world we walk in?

Good ink! =)
