You Again

You Again

A Poem by Gracefool_Lyn
"

Pain, fear, and submission are all he seems to want from me.

"

You again

Turn around

Go back to where you came from

I don't want to see you anymore

That smoky scent

Recognizable wherever I am

Don't need to look behind me

I can sense your presence

The familiarity of the lingering darkness

And I know I'm trapped

You've caught hold of me

And won't let go

Then you strike me down

I can't scream

I'm huddled on the ground

No longer can I fight

No wasted words in the poem. Took me on a journey of fear and being stalk and control. Sometime you must play possum and get up and escape. A excellent poem.
