Invisible BorderA Poem by Gracefool_LynThis is about a person that constantly tries to intimedate me by dividing everyone into two sides-his side and everyone else. I used to be on his side, but then I "switched" sides.I was never told I couldn't There are no written rules Nor any spoken Yet we must remain divided You on one side And me on the other Why was this invisible line drawn A replica of the Great Wall of China Neither of us was meant to cross But what is the point Why do this to me Can't I live on both lands My house lies inbetween Yet you made me choose One side or the other Couldn't have both As was my hope I didn't listen to you Ignored your silent threats Crossed the border anyway A thousand times over You did nothing Until suddenly now Why does it matter I have made my choice You know the land I own It's a decision you provoked And now we both must live with it Divided loyalties cannot exist You wanted it this way Back when I was still loyal to you Yet I have learned I have moved on Stay away from me And all will be resolved If you plan on hopping your wall You may as well tear it down You're the one who put it up We all want it to fall © 2011 Gracefool_LynReviews
