Busy.

Busy.

A Poem by Grace Eisenhauer
"

I'm brand new to adulthood. Nearing the end of my college career I'm seeing how time with family and friends becomes less and less. It's hard...so here's a poem.

"
Busy your mind
Don't become bored
Boredom is a trap
A trap door that leads to nowhere
Where you're all alone

Reach out to friends
Their minds are still busy
We're adults now
Adults don't play
Unless there's nothing to get done

Or if we're bored.

...and our timing is perfect

...ly awful

Boredom doesn't sync up
It's not predicted through calculation
...though that helps busy the mind
Ironic that calculating boredom
Takes it away for a brief moment

I just wish my mind
Would stop battling itself
When it has no problem to solve
It makes itself the problem
And makes me aware

That I'm alone.

Ah, but what about those minds that are too busy. I get headaches from it. haha I know what you mean though. It's kind of like idle hands are the devil's workshop.
