Unfinished

Unfinished

A Poem by A.N Hunter

Everything was for you, the sky,
the flowers, the sea
Maybe the stars, the gems, the very thing
that I owned since birth for thee,
You don't love me.
Remember the time when
we cherished each other
flourished with each other,
revolved around one another.
You regret me.
"Alas" I cried. My best I tried, for ye to
behold the world
with your very own beautiful green eyes,
 yet you've unfinished me.
  I wonder why.
