Dreams do come true.

Dreams do come true.

A Story by A.N Hunter

"Excuse me ma'am are you finished"
Caught off guard, I realized that I had stayed well until closing time at the local diner. That's a rarity for me being such a planned and well-organized young lady. As I started to head out the door I noticed something out of the corner of my eye, something that wasn't originally there, something that was maybe a fragment of my imagination. Quickly, rushed out of the door praying to God that the horror displayed on my face went unnoticed. Mumbling, I decided that what I seen was clearly someone that was differently abled in a special way.
"I saw you miss"
Snapping my head to my left, I gazed upon the same man that resided in the diner. As he spoke he bared his perfect pearly white teeth.
I shuddered.
"Yes I notice that, my apologies"
Startled at the boldness of my tone, I backed away towards my car and aimlessly fumbled with my keys. Acknowledging the stranger's presence I stopped to walk back into the diner but as soon as I reached the door it hit me,this terrible pain shot through out my body. Panic quickly engulfed my body;paralyzing me. When my eyes set on the pool of crimson rich blood pouring out of me, my knees buckled beneath me. The smell of iron rich red suffocated me. Gradually, my eyes began to see dark spots surround me. With a swift movement  my eyes opened only to find myself in the comfort of my own bed, far away from the diner, far away from the stranger. A shuffle noise crept in my corner as I slowly turned my head.
