Become a Better ManA Poem by Nicholas Duboe This is a fun little poem making light of the world we live in and how we admire others features and wish for them to be our own. Lend me your ears, your fingers and toes. Lend me what you can. Perhaps I can exchange myself to become a better man. What eyes you have, what a nose you've got, Oh may I take a look? How about a trade? Pick anything! Just please don't be a crook. Sir your arms what muscles you have, ma'am your teeth, oh my! How bout a leg? An arm you say? Perhaps an ear or eye? But by the end the man I'll be, compiled of all you know A spitting image of perfection, stitched together, head to toe.
