Not Myself Today

I had a weird day a little bit ago. It was a day I didn't feel much like myself. This is a poem inspired by that feeling. Enjoy and please comment your thoughts!

Not Myself Today

 

I am not myself today,

well who am I?...I cannot say,

then what am I?...I guess okay,

but I am not myself today.

Who am I? I do not know,

I don't think Jason, John or Joe,

a similar looking figure though,

but in the end I still don't know.

What am I? I did say okay,

I'm just having one of those not myself days,

I feel different in one of those not myself ways,

like did I really mean it when I said "okay".

Can I please just return to what I used to be,

and shed this not myself me for me,

then finally look into my mirror and see,

That old me myself me that I used to be.
