Tormentor Same

Tormentor Same

A Poem by Gossamerwings36
"

Don't we all feel this way sometimes?

"

Living in my frozen grave
Lost about from distant names
Memories seem to have fade
A prisoner of Loneliness bade
Given from my own enslave
Deep within this mental pain
As my life begins new waves
Wilting tears within my Brain
As I've dug up my own grave
I am the tormentor of my Pain
I am the eternal victim Made
Wipe away this wicked game
That I have brought on to play
If I don't then I must pay
This price that no one gave
But the messenger with thy name
I the tormentor of this Fame

Perhaps I am reading this poem too deeply, but I sense a self resentment that honestly was not caused by you. The tone is very melancholy, yet anger and/or hate seems to come through. I feel perhaps I can relate to this, if I interpreted it correctly. Well written.
