Dreamers Reward

Dreamers Reward

A Poem by Gossamerwings36
"

If you put your mind to it, don't let obstacles stand before you, you can make your dreams come true.

"

Life is not just worth Sleeping
Hiding under your Pillow in Fear
Stuck on a Hamster Wheel
Never getting past the last Stair
At times we can Feel entrapment
Tied in a Eternal Gordian Knot
Like on a Horrible Re-Run
A Two Bit actor in a lost Plot
Can't let this take Control of you
You 're nobody's Chained up Pet
You are your own Centered Compass
Lined up to the goals that you set
You are the Star of your Horizon
The Diva of a Winning Show
Destiny is a Knife Double Pointed
One that's Sharp, Clear and Direct
The other, Tarnished and Dull
The Direction, your choice, set it
To Dream, To Win,  To Hold.

Those two lines are very clever. I love this piece. I love all of your work that I've read, haha. But yes, this was fun to read. Great job!

This is a really good poem, I especially like the line: You are the star of your own horizon. It's a really cool line and stood out to me for some reason. It's a better way to say you're the star of your own show, I suppose. Nice write, keep it up! :)
