Forever and always

Another day, the sun fades low,
Without your smile, the world feels slow.
But love endures through time and space,
In every thought, I see your face.

The miles may keep us far apart,
Yet love beats strong within my heart.
Through every trial, near or wide,
I long to stand right by your side.

I dream of days when we’ll be free,
No distance left between you and me.
With every tear, with every sigh,
Our love will shine, it won’t deny.

Through every joy, through every pain,
Through summer’s sun and winter’s rain.
Hand in hand, we’ll face it all,
Together still, when shadows fall.

So take my hand, let’s walk as two,
Through all of life, just me and you.
With love so strong, so pure, so true,
Forevermore, I’ll grow old with you.
