To risk one's heart

To risk one's heart

A Poem by Webster

Love is a fire, both fierce and tender,
A leap of faith, a heart to surrender.
Yet, without the ache, the tear-stained nights,
How could we treasure its radiant light?

For pain carves depth where joy can bloom,
A silent promise in the gloom.
Without the fall, the fragile cracks,
How could love ever give us back?

To find someone, you must first dare,
Step into the world with a heart laid bare.
No armor thick, no walls too high,
For love lives where the open try.

You must search the shadows, walk the rain,
Embrace the beauty born of pain.
For only when you risk it all,
Can love lift you after the fall.

So take the chance, let courage lead,
Plant the hope, and sow the seed.
In the hurt, in the healing, you'll understand:
Love is the touch of a reaching hand.

A very very beautiful true poem, love is definitely about taking many risks.
Your poem explores the dual nature of love, highlighting that true love encompasses both joy and pain.
Also emphasizes the necessity of vulnerability and the risks involved in experiencing love fully.

"To find someone, you must first dare,
Step into the world with a heart laid bare.
No armor thick, no walls too high,
For love lives where the open try." LOVED THIS STANZA Makes complete sense.

Thank u for sharing. Looking forward to many more of your poems.
