Fate's verdict

Fate's verdict

A Poem by Webster

Whispers echo through the silent air,
A test of life, decisions laid bare.
Desires unmet, a delicate disturbance,
Off balance I sway, in quiet perturbance.

When dreams slip away, the world stands still,
Heart skips a beat, a moment to distill.
Yet, in the stillness, resilience is found,
Silent turmoil gives way to a quiet rebound.

The echoes linger, a subtle lament,
Yet life persists, a relentless ascent.
In the hush of turmoil, a silent decree,
To carry on, as if nothing used to be.

A stoic facade hides the inner storm,
A silent turmoil, emotions transform.
Yet, in the silence, strength does unfold,
A silent journey, resilient and bold.

When wants remain elusive, a disarray,
Throwing off balance, in the quest's ballet.
The heartbeat falters, a moment's trance,
As the world pauses, caught in circumstance.

Yet, remember, dear soul, it's but a part,
A single scene, not the whole of your heart.
For life's grand tapestry, rich and wide,
Unfurls beyond what today may decide.
