A Rainy Day

A Rainy Day

A Poem by Webster

The freshly wet dirt
Fragrance in the air
Moist cool breeze
Leaves dance without care

Pitter patter against my window
Music to my ears
The child within grows happy
As the clouds fall down in tears.

I sit right by my window
As the rain drips over the roof
My cup of tea to warm me
As the clouds with thunder "rufe"

The children dance in puddles
Just happiness and glee
Brings back those core memories
Before life came with a fee

The brilliance of this season
No one can discount
The rains always give me reason
To smile that I may surmount

About
Do I write to fill a void deep inside, where others can never reach to fill. Only pure emotions flow through my words. I hope I reach out to others who feel the same as in words I write and emotions I.. more..
