Vicious Cycle

Vicious Cycle

A Poem by Webster

Darkness pulls with all its might
When courage refuses to take flight
The flowers begin-to in summer wilt
No soul to fuel just relentless guilt

Fall has yet not turned it's eye
Yet the colors they seem to change nearby
For the cold weary wind blows in
To take aflight my shrivelled wings

Crash and burn into the ground
The warmth I have is serendipity unwound
No respite to a new days light
For then again it shall repeat

When in the barren dew drops nourish
A flower blooms from the ashes
Plucked out right from its prime
Soon to whither as daylight climbs

About
Do I write to fill a void deep inside, where others can never reach to fill. Only pure emotions flow through my words. I hope I reach out to others who feel the same as in words I write and emotions I.. more..
