Mind in Control

Mind in Control

A Chapter by Steven Goodykoontz

Steven was sitting in his office, cleaning his gun. He always did that when he had downtime. The agent had nothing to do. He and Todd were the only one that weren’t on a mission. One of the policies of ADOC, when you finish a mission, you are on standby and for home base defense. Todd’s office was right next to his, and he sometimes goes over there and talks to him.

As for Paul and Roy, however is doing some research for Nathan and Chad. They are cleaning house at a Bosnian factory. Even the other agents are on either a mission, or on leave. Steven is technically on leave, but he had decided to stay here. He knows that his daughter had forgotten him, because she is eight now. She has good parents, and he is also considered dead by the USA. After he gets out of the service, he will have to change his name, he has a choice to leave the country, and he has to become a very new and different person. ADOC also has another policy; you are not retired, until you are dead, even if you are legally retired. What Paul is concerned, if you 99 years old, then you are retired. Paul does not like to work with old people, because he is already old. Paul is about 56 years old and first worked for the CIA, until the president, with aid of congress made ADOC. Paul was selected, because he was a good agent, and he did show fairly good leadership skills.

As for Roy, he was and still is a big dreamer. Since he was small back in 1952 when he was only 14, he built a home based satellite so he could listen to the government. He only made it out of a smashed metal pan, a clothes hanger, a small radio transmitter, copper wire, and a radio. He was not really actually able to hear the government, but he did hear several planes, jets, helicopter, and the few truckers that went by. He also claims that he heard an alien.

The medics that we know as Tina and Angel also started out small. Tina used to not want to become a doctor, instead she wanted to become a dancer. She grew up, and she started to think about real jobs. She did get a chance to go to a dance college, however, but she decided it would be best if she went to a twelve-year college PhD for anatomy, surgery, and doctoring. She did work for Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, but when she got a call from the US government saying that they need her for ADOC, she was quick to take it.

Angel on the other hand was just a simple nurse. She worked in St. Louis as a RN for a few years. She thought she was not well known, but when Paul had a heart attack and Tina was sick in bed, he went to the hospital that Angel worked at. She revived him, and has gotten the favor of Paul himself. Angel considers herself a humble servant, but agents around here, even Tina and Roy think that Paul has the hots for her. Angel is still young, and she is also a bachelorette. Paul thinks about it everyday to ask her to a dinner, or just for a drink, but Paul is a relatively shy guy. He does have kids, but his wife died twenty years ago. His children are all in college, and he is very lonely. Even though Paul is in his fifties, he only fells as if he is thirty.

Today, Paul feels very lucky. He wants to ask Angel out and his confidence has been stored up for so long. Paul gets up from his work and walks towards the doctor room, just past the lobby. When he reaches the door, he hears commotion outside and then a few gunshots. Paul realizes that the enemy has decided to attack. He runs back to his desk and calls Todd and Steven and they race out of their offices. Paul gets a Walther from his front desk drawer and loads it. He strafes the wall next to his door that opens to the wall on the left. He waits for the men to come in and attack. He shot one man in the heart. That man died as two more gunmen came in. One ran in and jumped at Paul and made him hit the floor. Paul’s gun got thrown from his hand under his desk. Paul took his fingers and gauged out his attacker’s eyes. The attacker released his grip and rolled onto the floor next to Paul. As the other attacker put his weapon up, Steven and Todd ran into the room. Steven ran at the attacker. The attacker raised his weapon, but before he could fire Paul caught his gun and slammed it into his face. The attacker’s nose started to bleed and he held it. Steven jumped at the man and held him down on the ground. Steven took out his four-inch blade and stabbed the man in the chest piercing his heart. The attacker’s muscles relaxed and he died. As for the other attacker with his eyes gauged out, he tried to run, but Todd shot him in the head with his revolver.

"Are there any more people?" asked Steven to Paul.

Paul directed his eyes toward the dead men. "I do not know," he said not making direct eye contact.

"Todd and I will check."

The two agents walked through the corridor to the lobby. Steven got out his Colt .45 and readied it. The two agents crept along and stopped behind the counter of the secretary counter. The secretary had been gagged, bound and choked. Steven turned to Todd and motioned him to go check the men and lady’s bathrooms. Todd went that way and Steven went to check out the secretary station and brake room. Steven crept around the file cabinets and computers.

Todd on the other hand crept around the men’s bathroom. He quickly opened each stall and pointed his weapon, and cocked back the head. He checked each stall, but found nothing.

Steven then checked the break room. The light had been shot out and it was dark in there. There was a small window on the side of the wall, but that light was not very good. He crept around the tables until he got to the vendors. Suddenly, someone got behind Steven and started to choke him with his AK47. Steven shot his gun to warn Todd. Todd surly heard it. Steven jumped up against the wall smacking his attacker’s back and head against it. The man released his grip and Steven tried to shoot, but the attacker hit him in the face with the butt of his gun. Steven jumped back holding his face. The man attempted to shoot his weapon, but Todd entered the room and shot him in the arm and the man screamed. The attacker dropped his gun and fell against the vending machine holding his arm. Steven recovered from his pain and stood the man up. Steven punched him and knocked him out. Todd and Steven took the man to Paul’s office and tied him tightly to a chair.

"Men, I want you to take these dead men’s bodies to Tina, she will examine them. I will contact the Homeland Security Department," said Paul.

The two agents nodded and slowly picked one man up at a time.

Paul dialed his phone on his desk. He turned around in his chair, looking out his window like he always does when he has to make important phone calls. It calms him down.

Someone on the other line answered.

"Hello," said a woman’s voice, "This is the Homeland Security Department, who do you need?"

"I need Director Peter Phillips," he replied.

"Sorry, sir," the secretary replied, "but he is on vacation."

"Okay. Thanks."

Paul hung up and held his chin.

In the operating room, Tina and here assistant Angel cut open one of the men. They had the body cavity all open, but nothing was wrong with that. They opened up his skull and took out the man’s brain. Tina weighed it, and examined them more. Tina noticed the bullet hole, and then something else.

"What is that?" asked Tina.

"Looks like a microchip," replied her assistant Angel. Some how, the bullet managed to expose the chip.

"We need Roy in here. Call Roy."

Angel nodded and went to the phone. She dialed the room number to Roy’s lab. The phone rang.

"Roy here."

"We need you, Roy. We have a problem."

"What sort of problem? Are you both alright?"

"Yes, but we need your expert opinion on this."

"I do not have much experience in the medical field."

"We believe this isn’t a medical situation."

"Mmm, I’ll be there in just a second. I just have to put up this new gun."

Angel hung up and walked back to Tina who had cut out the microchip on the man’s cerebral vortex. Tina put it on the utensil table and checked for anything else. However, she found nothing.

Roy walked in. Tina motioned him to come over to him. Roy walked up to the two medics and Tina handed him some gloves. He put them on.

"Where is this thing you were talking about?" asked Roy.

Angel picked up the microchip and handed it to Roy.

"Where did you find this?" asked Roy.

"In the man’s cerebral vortex. Apparently that is a perfect place to put something if you want to control someone’s mind." replied Tina.

"I suppose this is what it was intended to be, but this does not look like any regular microchip," said Roy as he looked at the round chip. "Most microchips are square not round. To me, this looks like you can intake it orally, but how did it get to his brain." Roy looked up at the two medics. "Was there any scaring on the scalp, balding, or any sign that it had been operated on?"

"Not that I know of," replied Tina. "I can check the other bodies, I suppose they have the same thing in them."

Tina went over to another body and examined it. She searched around the areas where the cerebral vortex can be located. She found no sign of any tampering to the scalp.

"There’s nothing."

"Strange," said Roy. "The body’s blood vessels cannot get this into them, it is impossible." He looked at the brain and found something else. There were little wires in the brain that were sticking out.

"Doc, get over here."

"What is it, you found something?" asked Tina. Angel and Tina ran over to Roy.

"What are those?" he asked as he put the part of the brain under a magnifying glass.

"Looks like wires, Tina," said Angel.

"Yes," she replied. "This could explain how the chip got in there."

Tina took a scalpel and cut around the wires. She held the part of the brain and took off the brain matter that was on another object. This object looked like a small spider with a stinger between the legs.

"Look at this," said Tina to Roy.

Roy turned his head to the spider-like object in Tina’s hand.

"It looks like a spider," he said. "This object is also able to be taken orally. Look at the stomach, I have an idea."

Tina went back to the body cavity and looked at the stomach. Tina used a probe to look around and found a scar.

"This looks promising," said Tina.

"What?" asked Roy as he walked over.

"I missed this. This scar is not an ulcer mark, it is too big. I am guessing that that spider-like thing must have cut a hole in the stomach, and went right to the spine."

"How do you know?" asked Roy.

"It is the best way to get to the brain."

"I think you are right."

"I want you to take this to your lab and study it. I’ll bring the rest of the chips to you."

Roy nodded his head, took the spider and the chip and walked to his lab.

***

The phone rang in Paul’s office. Paul answered the phone and quickly turned around looking at the night sky.

"Paul," he said.

"Paul," said a man’s voice, "this is Peter Phillips, my secretary told me that you called. What do you need?"

"We got attacked Phil, we need people guarding our building so that this does not happen again," replied Paul.

"Who attacked you, when?"

"Ten-thirty," replied Paul, "Our secretary got killed, and we have one of the attackers tied up in a chair over here." Paul turned around and looked at a broken chair. The man in the chair was gone. Paul got out his pistol and put down the phone on his desk. He loaded his gun as Phil was trying to talk to Paul.

"Paul, Paul!" yelled Phil.

Paul walked to the door that leads to the lobby. He strafed the wall and looked over his shoulder looking into the lobby. He saw a shadow move to the right towards the bathroom. Still strafing the wall, he walked down the corridor and stopped on the corner parallel with the line chairs in the lobby facing the secretary office. He looked over his shoulder and saw the shadow move around in the lady’s restroom. Paul walked up to the lady’s restroom and looked into it. The bathroom had an "s" curve before it gets to the main bathroom. Still strafing the wall, he walked slowly around the "s" and stopped at the corner. He looked into the brightly-lit room and saw a shadow at the end stall. He stopped strafing the wall and slowly walked past the sinks, and then got to the last stall on the right. He strafed the wall again and with his left foot, kicked in the door. The door bent inwards and Paul jumped at the man with an AK47. Paul was on him, but the man was strong and still standing when he threw Paul back. Paul’s back slammed into the parallel stall. The man jumped at Paul and hit him with the butt of his gun. Paul tried to push the gun away from his neck when the man tried to choke him. Paul put his handgun to his attacker’s side and shot one round into his stomach. The man was relentless in trying to kill him. His attacker did feel the bullet go in and then out hitting the wall. The man gave an uneasy shrug, but held his grip on Paul’s neck. Paul shot again until all of his rounds were gone. The attacker had a little bit of blood coming out of his mouth, but still he had a firm grip on Paul. Paul started to black out, when all of a sudden, Steven and Todd raced in. Todd pulled the man off of Paul, and the man hit Todd with the butt of his gun and went for Paul again. Steven came in and held the AK47 still as the man tried to put it back onto Paul’s neck. Todd recovered and pushed the man away. The man pushed Todd, and he went flying on, hit the floor about ten feet away from the scuffle. Steven took out a small knife that Todd gave him. The knife was actually a small repel gun. When you push the button for the metal pin to come out, a little hook came out and could hook to any surface. Steven did just that and the hook hit the man’s head. The harpoon-like hook pierced his skull and penetrated his brain. The attacker stood still and dropped his AK47. The man fell and the pen got stripped from Steven’s hand. Paul held his neck and looked at the dead man.

"That man was like Superman," said Paul.

"True that," replied Todd, slowly getting up and walking toward Steven.

"Well," said Steven lifting the man up, "we should take this to Tina for examination."

"Go ahead," said Todd, "I’ll help Paul recover."

Steven walked out and took the body to Tina. He walked in and saw the two medics opening up the body.

"Tina," said Steven.

Tina looked up and took off her mask.

"Yes?"

"We have another body for you," he replied.

Tina pointed to a body cart. Steven walked over and put it on the cart.

"Take this," said Tina. She handed Steven a mask.

Steven put the mask on and looked at what Tina was doing.

"Look here," said Tina pointing to the stomach.

"It is the stomach," said Steven. "What about it?"

"See that healed up scar?" asked the doctor.

"Yes," replied Steven.

"That is not from an ulcer," she replied.

"How do you know?"

"Well, that kind of ulcer can kill a man, I am surprised that that slit did not kill him anyways," she said. "What I think happened is that the chip that was found in their head. made this." Angel handed Tina one of the chips and one of the spider-like things. "This is what our man here consumed. They eat this centimeter chip and I believe that it waits until the acids in the stomach are gone before it proceeds outside the body and makes its way up to the spine into the cerebral vortex."

Steven looked at the slit. He put his finger on it. Tina slapped his hand and Steven receded his hand to his body.

"Why is that slit healed up so quickly?" asked the agent.

"I do not know, maybe it has something to do with the chip," replied Tina.

Tina went to the head and extracted the brain. She put the brain onto the weighing table.

"Normal weight," she said as he put it down. Angel wrote it down on here note pad.
Tina took her scalpel and cut the brain in half. When she opened it up, she found the chip hooked to the spider-like device. She took it out and put it on the table.

"Angel, take this body to the freezer," commanded Tina.

Angel nodded her head and wheeled the man to the freezer.

Tina dissected the last man and examined him and took out the chip and put it on the table. Angel wheeled that man to the freezer.

"Steven," said Tina. "would you do me a big favor?"

"Sure," he replied.

"Take these chips to Roy," she said.

Steven nodded his head, took the chips, and went to Roy’s lab.

***

Roy was at his workbench at the end of the room. He was looking through an electron microscope.

"Hello Roy," said Steven.

Roy turned around in his chair, looked at Steven, and said, "Steven, come here, I want to show you something."

Steven walked over to Roy. Roy got up and pointed toward the microscope. Steven looked into it and saw the microchip.

"What does that remind you of?" asked Roy.

Steven looked harder and said, "It looks like a spider."

"Look at the bottom," said Roy.

Steven put his focus on the bottom and saw a single little hair thin metal sheet coming from the bottom of the spider, in the vertex of all of the legs.

"Is that a venom shoot?" asked Steven.

"Not likely," said Paul. "I believe it is some kind of micro-electronic device used for some purpose. What I believe what it is used for is to wake up the subconscious mind and take control."

Steven was still looking at the little metal sting. "How do you know?" he asked.

"Well," said Roy, "I learned that the subconscious can be controlled easily by hypnotism, and this micro-robot does just that. It wakens up the subconscious, takes control, and leaves it there for some time."

"Fascinating," said Steven. "But what about those little knob-like things on the top of the microchip?"

Roy had print outs of the robot. He looked at one of the pictures. "Those, I say are little conductors that are used to make the body do something," he replied looking up at Steven.

Steven quickly got up and looked at Roy straight in the eyes.

"Can it trigger someone to be very aggressive toward a given target and give him or her great strength?" asked Steven frantically.

"I suppose," replied Roy. "Why do you ask?"

"Paul was attacked again," explained Steven. Steven started to pace and hold his chin. "I mean, this man just was super strong. Todd tried to pull him off of Paul, but it was so hard for him to do so. When that man turned his aggression toward Todd, he just unloaded on him. I have seen defensive tacklers unload on a quarterback, but this man was just nuts! He threw Todd across the bathroom. Todd passed out for a while. Paul unloaded his gun into him, but you know that any regular person would die because of those wounds. One bullet hit his lungs, blood was coming out of his mouth. The only way that I killed him was by destroying his brain." Steven turned to Roy. "What is going on here?"

"It sounds to me that someone is obviously planting little robots into people’s brains," said Roy. He walked over to another print out and pointed to the knob-like things sticking out of the robot. "These knobs might be something that can control people’s functions. Tina told me that these little devils were planted into their cerebral vortex. That is close to the medulla oblongata. That controls the anger. Also, what I know about neurotics, the mechanism that controls the functions for the body to release adrenalin is located around those parts."

Steven looked at Roy. "So, some lunatic is planting these poor people with robots, controlling their minds, telling them to kill people, and making the body use up the adrenalin so that they can really do some damage. Who is doing this?"

Roy shook his head and shrugged.

Steven looked back into the microscope. He focused into the center of the chip. Engraved into the chip was a series of numbers and letters. It was pushed in, not out. It read, "344YJK3341A."

"Roy, come over here quick," demanded Steven still looking into to the microscope motioning over to him.

Roy ran over. Steven got up and Roy looked into the microscope.

"Speak of the devil," said Roy. "This is a serial code."

"What do we do with it?" asked Steven as Roy turned his attention towards him.

"Paul has access to a database of serial numbers and companies throughout the world," replied Roy. He took off the chip and put on the small spider as Steven wrote down the serial number. He focused the microscope and found something else. "This one has the same one."

"Well, Roy, I guess you can say ‘speak of the devils,’" said Steven with a smile.

"That was corny," said Roy looking up at him. He put his eye back onto the lens. "The serial number is 889TYT1123Q." Steven wrote that number down on a pad of paper. Roy took off that one and looked at the rest of the spiders and chips. When he was finished, he turned off the microscope, and while he was wrapping to cord he told Steven, "All those chips and spiders have the same numbers." Steven folded his arms and nodded. "That means that the chips and spiders come from different companies, but all the chips come from the same one, and so do the spiders. Let’s take these Paul."

***

Steven and Roy walked into Paul’s office. Tina and Angel were already there talking to Paul.

"Just a minute ladies," said Paul to the medics. They sat down on the chairs next to his desk. "You have something Roy?"

"Yes," he replied. He held up the chips and spiders in separate plastic baggies.

"Those are the chips that came from your attackers!" said Tina.

Paul motioned for him to see them. Roy handed them over and Paul examined them. "So," said Paul, "what about them?"

"Sir," said Steven. "I found a serial number on those chips, and Roy found some on those spiders. We believe that if you can track them, you can see where they came from. That way, we can see who were the suspicious ones who bought them."

"Do you have the serial numbers?" asked Paul putting the baggies on his desk.

Steven handed Paul the note pad with the two serial numbers on it. He turned to his computer. The computer was on sleep mode. He jiggled his mouse a little and up came the desktop. He went to an icon and was on a program. The program said, "For governmental use only." He pushed in his code and up on his screen came a series of icons. They were for many different reasons. He pushed the one that said, "Serial number identifier." He pushed on it and up came another password box. He put his password in. Up came another writing bar. He punched in the serial code and printed the page out. He pushed in the other one and printed the page out. He turned around in his chair and read them. Roy, Steven, Angel, and Tina knew very well that when he turns around in his chair, that it is own alone time. They all went different ways and let Paul read the information.

***

"Roy," said Paul as he was talking into his phone contacting into Roy’s lab.

"Yes, sir?" asked Roy on the other end.

"Is it possible for you to get those old, covert suits back in service?" he asked.

"I am sure. I still have them here with me," replied Roy.

"I am sending Steven out to talk to the company who makes those round chips, while Todd is going to talk with the people who make those mechanical spiders," said Paul.

"I will do this right away, sir," replied Roy.

Paul hung up.

Roy was in his lab, going though the lockers. He went through old covert suits that he made, some he has yet to finish, and ones that are rejects. He looks through the stealth suits, disappearing suits, spy suits, then finally, the cover suits, and Lord behold, and he found two that were in pristine condition. He took it out and dusted the suit with the red tie off. As the ties were before, all you had to do to use the recorders in the knots is just push it. Roy put them on a cart and continued to dust them off. What is also built in the suits were a gun cradle for large guns, and a holster for small, sidearms. He knew that the largest one was for Steven, because he was relatively tall, and the last one was for Todd, short, but muscular. Also what he knew about the two agents is that Steven loved the Spas 12 for the main arm, and the Colt .45 as a side arm. The same was not for Todd, however. Todd favored the SIG 552 as the main arm, and for the side arm was the Walther P38. He went over to his gun shelf at the south-end of his lab and selected the desired weapons. He put them into their correct places and took them back to the dressing rooms in the back of the lab.

***

"Agents," said Paul to the two agents standing in front of his desk, "we have a small, but important assignment for you two. It seems to be a domestic issue. The two serial numbers that Steven and Roy found on the two chips are located, here in St. Louis." Paul pushed a button on his desk that caused the lights to dim, and the old projector to come down and a light to show upon that. A map on the left side, while on the right were the two objects, the spider, and the round chip. Two flashing dots came upon the screen. "As you know," said Paul looking at the agents, "as you know, this is a map of St. Louis and these two red dots are your objectives." The screen changed, the right side was still showing the two objects, but the two dots became two factories. Paul pointed to the top factory. "Steven," said Paul once again, "this company is called the ‘AI Scientific’. This one is what makes those chips." Paul put is attention onto Todd. "This last one is called ‘Quincy Robotics’. This one made the spider bots. You both will drive in your Mercedes and interview the shipment managers."

The agents nodded.

***

"Yes, this is one of ours," said a man looking at the circle chip. Agent Steven was in front of the shipment manager’s desk, named George Stetson. "You want to know where we sent these to in the last year?"

"Yes," replied Steven. Steven was in his suit and he nudged his tie so that the voice transmitter would come on so that ADOC can listen in on their conversation.

The man turned around in his chair and typed in a few passwords in his computer. "We have not had many numerous of companies wanting our products, because of those darn Japanese making chips for less," he said turning his head back towards Steven. Steven made no expression. George grumbled and printed out the sheet. There were only about twenty companies on the paper. George handed Steven the paper. "Anything else that I can get you?" asked George.

"Yes," replied Steven, "what are your chips mainly used for?"

"Well," replied George. "We mainly use them for animals. We are not well known yet, but we soon hope to be. What we use for the chips are to make animals behave more. They can be mostly used for dogs, but the companies that bought our products use them for other animals. If you look on that sheet, sir, you can see that there is one company that does stand out more than the others are. I believe it is an old mine in Germany. I think it may be closed down, but heck, money is money, heh?"

"Yes," replied Steven with disgust.

Steven said thank you and left. He went outside to his Mercedes. He clicked on the monitor in his car and contacted Paul.

"Paul here."

"Paul," said Steven. "I have found one lead that may help us finding who attacked us." Paul nodded his head and looked closer to his monitor on his desk. "I believe that this mine called Gootenburg Mine, may have something more than just animal testing. The man told me that the chip was used mainly for behavioral issues for animals, mainly canines. The man also said that that is a strange case."

"Anything else?" asked Paul.

"No," replied Steven.

"Good, come back to ADOC and get ready. I have just got a satellite image of the mine, and what I have found is astounding. I, with permission from the president, am sending you to that mine to shut it down. Todd and Dustin will accompany you. Paul, out."

Steven started his car and sped off to the ADOC building.

***

"Agents," said Paul. Steven, Todd, and Dustin were standing in front of Paul’s desk. Paul pushed a button on his desk. The projector screen came down, the lights dimmed, and the projector came on. An image of a man was on one side, and the satellite image of a mine was next to it. "This is the mine on the left. Sentries and guards by all sides heavily guard it. There are ventilation shafts nearby, but they are too small for you men to get through. What I will and Roy will have to do is make you go undercover as a SUP leader. That also brings me to this man." Paul turned his attention to the man on the right. The man was rich, you could tell it by the type of clothing he wore. He had blonde hair, and blue eyes, saying that he had little, or no connections to the Neo-Nazis that Steven and Todd encountered 8 months ago in April. "This man is named Benjamin Batman. He is part of the Socialist Union Party that you three and Nathan encountered in April. This man is a native of Massachusetts, studied for his PhD in Harvard for anatomy, science, physics, surgery, and technology in MIT. After college, he moved away to Europe, where our sources believe he joined the Neo-Nazis, and acquired the name, Fredrik Isingler." Steven and Todd gasped

"Wait a minute," demanded Steven.

Paul looked at Steven. "What?"

"I know this man," he replied. "Back in Berlin, we stayed at the Berlin Inn, while awaiting to get to that factory in Tajikistan. We agreed that we would go together. While on our way to the factory, he and his friend attacked us. We killed his friend, but Fredrik survived."

"So, you already know this man?"

"Yes," replied Steven.

"Now, I want you two to report to Roy’s lab immediately for suit up," said Paul. He pushed the button on his desk and the projector went off, the lights came back on, and the projector screen went up. The three agents walked out of the room into Roy’s lab that was next to Paul’s office.

"Welcome, agents," said Roy.

"Good afternoon, Roy," replied Dustin.

"I have one new thing for you," Roy said. "I have tested it out, and it should work perfectly. Just come with me."

The three agents walked behind Roy to a desk at the end of his lab that was always infested with shelves with guns on them. Roy picked up three guns.

"This, gentlemen," said Roy, handing the agents their weapon, "is what I call the electronic disrupter. This gun will disrupt any and all electronic devices that you shoot at. I suspect that if you get found out at that mine, Isingler will send out an army of those brainwashed men of theirs." Roy took out three stealth suits from the closets next to him. "Here are your suits that are made for you to look alike the other people at that mine."

The three agents walked to the dressing rooms in the next room. When they came out, Roy had gun shelves opened.

"Agents," he said. "I want you to take one main gun, and a side arm. You can also take as much ammunition as you can possibly take."

The agents nodded and went over to the shelves. Dustin picked up the M16 and the Walther PPK. Todd picked up the SIG 552, and the Walther P99. Steven picked up the Spas 12, and the Colt .45. They all put their main weapon on their back cradle that was behind the coat of their clothing. The clothing consisted of blue jeans, steel-toed shoes, flannel shirt, and a winter, wool coat. The coat had a gun cradle on the inside, and the coat was thicker where the cradle was, so that nobody can tell that they have a gun in their possession. They also, inside of their coat, two cradles for a gadget and a side arm. They put their side arm in a big pocked on the inside, bottom of the coat, and the gadget on a pocket on the inside of the arm of the coat. The coat also consisted of pockets within the inside. The agents all got 100 clips of their ammo.

"We are ready," said Steven.

"There is a helicopter outside, Paul said that he will brief you when you get over the Atlantic Ocean. Now go," demanded Roy.

The agents walked out of the lab and into the winter weather outside. Out of the helicopter came Andy.

"Welcome," he said. The helicopter was a silent, spy helicopter.

"Hello, Andy," said Steven.

"Come on aboard, it is nice in there."

The helicopter was a big one. Custom built. It had two circular blades on each side, but not like the old ones back in the Vietnam War. No. This one was bigger, faster, and more silent. It can carry loads of about 100,000 tons. The agents got in, and the copper came off the ground.

***

"Hello agents," said Paul. There were four secondary monitors next to the main screen where Paul was talking on. Paul was the biggest one. "You are now over the Atlantic Ocean, about to go over Denmark. We have airspace permission to go over here, so do not fret." The four screens came on, each showing a different image. The one on the left top corner of Paul flashed, and the agents put their attention onto that one. An arrow was shown at a big black spot. "This is the mine, gentlemen. You will go through this hole that you see on this arrow. There is a SUV on board, equipped with the most sophisticated technology that the US government can offer. You will see that in the glove compartment, there are three IDs, you need those so that you can get into the mine. Our friends in the German intelligence told us this information. You will drive in, and follow the directions that they give you. If they ask you your business, tell them that you are new recruits." The monitor on under that one flashed. It was an X-Ray look into the mine. There were four arrows. The image became clearer, and the agents could make out shapes. There was a prison yard with cells. That arrow was green. There was a building that had electronic devices inside. That arrow was red. There were also sniper nests. Those were circled, and the arrow was yellow. And last was a hospital-like place. That one was white. "This, agents, are places that you need to go to. I want you to take out the red one first. There are controls in there, by out sources tell us that the controls can deactivate the chips inside of the people’s heads. The next are the sniper nests, color yellow. I want you to sneak up and kill them all. Your car had silencers for you in the glove compartment, next to the IDs. The next thing that I want you to take out, is the hospital. That is where the men go and get their chips. We believe by medications. That color is white. The last objective is to let the prisoners out. Make sure that all, or most of them survive." The monitor on the right, top corner flashed and a picture of Fredrik Isingler came on. On the bottom screen was a bio of the man. Paul told them to be careful, and the monitors went off.

"We are over Denmark now," said Andy. The agents turned their heads toward Andy. "I will tell you how you will get down there." A set of lights came on, exposing an SUV. It was black, with blackened windows. "This is your transportation that we have given you. You will be dropped, and immediately the parachute on the SUV will deploy, and when you land, the parachute will take itself off." Andy pointed to the screen. "This is what kind of armaments that are put on your car." The main screen turned on and it had all the weapons put out. The top gun, which had a red arrow pointing on it, there were front machine guns, those were pointed with a green arrow, the side missile launchers were pointed with a yellow arrow, the front deterring rocket launchers were in purple, and the rear deploying mines were in white. Andy talked about each one of the weapons. By that time, it was time to go. Steven got inside the driving side door, Todd got inside the passenger side door (which he was in charge of the top gun that was put in the far back seat that when you push the red button on the dash board will release it, and you can use the controls that pop up from the same box and shoot people), then Dustin got inside the back seat. When they were over Germany, about twenty or so miles away, Andy pulled a lever, and a trap door opened and the SUV fell. Dustin got scared, but later chilled. Todd and Steven were cool about it. Then, about ten seconds later, the black parachute deployed, and they slowly floated down. Steven turned on the car.

When the car landed, and the parachute came off, Steven sped off.

At an old, abandoned mine, four guards were met by a black SUV. The front window went down, and Steven poked his head out as a guard, who only spoke German, came walked up to the SUV.

"Good afternoon," said the guard in German. The German had an AK47 in his grasp, and looked unhesitant to use it.

"Good afternoon," replied Steven in German.

"May I see your IDs, please," replied the German.

Todd went into the glove compartment and got out the three IDs. Todd handed them over to Steven, and he gave them to the guard. The guard backed off and scanned them through a card tester that looked like an old credit card scanner. He scanned all three of them, and walked back to them. The German handed Steven the IDs.

"Go ahead," said the guard.

"Thanks," replied Steven.

Steven drove into the old mine, and stopped inside of a shadowy place. He took the keys out of the keyhole, and the agents got out. Steven pushed a button on the key chain and the SUV became invisible. The three agents walked to a catwalk, which connected to the main place of the mine. It was big. He could see people in lab coat, prisoners, and there was their target they were also supposed to get that Paul did not mention, Fredrik Isingler. The three agents walked across the catwalk and went down an open elevator and went down to the main level. They went into a dark corner behind some crates and bent down.

"Okay," said Todd pointing to the nests up above. "There are the sniper nests. You will go into separate ones. I have your silencers, put them on your side arm. I want you to shoot with precision, and kill them good. I will take care of the controls. After that, I want you to get the prisoners out. I want you to run to the outside and secure it. Now break." Todd gave the silencers to the other agents. They all put it on their guns, and quickly stashed them back into their cradles.

Steven and Dustin went back to the top and went to the two sniper nests. Steven went to the far-left one, while Dustin went to the far right one. They were about 20 feet away from each other.

Steven snuck up to the guard, took him by the neck, and dropped him on the floor. He held the man down with his foot, while he got his weapon out. The guard was stunned, and dropped his Dragunov. Steven shot the sniper in the head and left him there.

Dustin was also right behind the sniper. He bashed the man over the head with his gun. The man dropped, and Dustin shot him. Both Steven and Dustin took the Dragunovs, and stashed them inside of a pocket in their coat. The two agents went down the elevator and went to where the prisoners were held. There were a lot of guards around that place, but it was not very bright. Steven motioned for Dustin to go around and get the guards, while Steven pushed the button to open the cell doors.

Dustin knocked out all the guards, and stuffed them into dark spots, while Steven opened the doors. Suddenly, all the prisoners rushed out, and attacked Steven and Dustin. The two agents ran, while the mob of two hundred or more came after him. Suddenly, they all stopped, and three guards that were holding on to Todd came out of the control room. A man came out of there.

"Fredrik," said Steven while Todd struggled to get free.

"Stupid American," replied the German in perfect English, but with a strong accent.

"What kind of operation are you running here?" asked Steven.

"I am finishing work that was meant to be done," replied Fredrik with a smirk. He walked toward the agents. Dustin slipped his hand into his coat and grasped his side arm. "You see, American, I have been working on this for a while now. This is what you may call, the merger of the Socialist Union Party, with the Neo-Nazis. What this will cause is total predomination of Germany, and soon, the world. We have contacts all over the world, mostly in the USA. There are even leaders that are in your government right now. In Argentina, there are old Nazi leaders, that are pulling strings to once again finish what Hitler had begun."

"How did you get all these people?" asked Steven.

"Our contacts across the world," replied Fredrik. "We capture the homeless, and bring them here. I see that the four guards that attacked ADOC did not succeed. What a shame. But, since you are here now, I will have the ADOC’s greatest once again attack them." Suddenly, as Fredrik was laughing, Dustin took out his gun and shot at Fredrik, but one of the guards shot him in the leg. Dustin fell and held his leg.

"Take them to the hospital!" yelled Fredrik. "Take their weapons!"

The guards took Dustin and Steven to the hospital, where there were people in beds behind bars. The guards threw them in and locked the door.

"What do we do now?" asked Steven to the agents looking out of the bars of the cell.

"Dustin is too hurt to escape. He is hurt bad," replied Todd.

Steven looked over to Dustin, while Todd was lifting him on the bed. Todd tore off a piece of his coat. On the hospital bed, there were small, centimeter bars on the side. Todd pulled one off with ease and rubbed it against the hard, sandpaper-like walls to make it sharp. When it was good enough, he took it over to the sink, put some soap on it, and cleaned it with hot water. He went over to Dustin.

"Hold him down for me," said Todd.

Steven came over and totally laid on him, pinning Dustin down, while holding his arms and legs still. Dustin was fighting. Adrenalin rushed through his body, making him like an animal. Todd stabbed the wound next to the bullet and attempted to gauge the bullet out of the hole. Dustin screamed an animal-like scream and shifted around.

"Keep him steady!" yelled Todd.

"I’m trying, but he is strong," replied Steven holding tight to Dustin.

"STOP STOP STOP!" yelled Dustin.

Dustin started to black out. His eyes were rolling to the back of his head. Just then, the bullet popped out and flew all the way to a little hole in the side of the wall. Steven saw the bullet go into the wall through a little crack. He went over and looked out the hole, and saw the back of a mess hall. The prisoners were eating.

"Todd come here," said Steven.

Todd wrapped up Dustin’s wounds and left his side and went over to Steven.

"Look through here," he said.

"It’s a mess hall, which means if there is a hole, then there is a way out," said Todd quietly.

"We’ll break out tonight, at lights out," said Todd.

***

Nightfall, and the agents were alone. Nobody in the hospital. Todd was next to the hole, using his steel-toed boots to kick the hole bigger. The hole was indeed getting bigger.

"Steven," whispered Todd to the sleeping Steven. Steven woke up.

"What?" he whispered back.

"We’re out of here," replied Todd. "Wake Dustin.

Steven went over to Dustin and shook him awake. He awoke.

"We’re out of here," he said.

Dustin got on his feet, but with a little limp. Todd crawled through the hole and got out, followed by Steven, then Dustin. Steven helped Dustin up.

"Go get some knives," said Todd to Steven.

Steven nodded and went to the kitchen and grabbed three knives. He came out and handed Todd and Dustin one.

"Follow my lead, and we’ll be okay," said Todd.

The two agents nodded and followed him.

The outside was dark, but with a little light. There were a few guards, but all and all it was kind of quiet. Todd motioned for Steven to take out the patrolling just beyond some crates. Steven crouched and walked slowly up to the guard. He took the knife and slit the man’s throat and held his mouth so that he would not scream. He laid the man down in the shadows. Todd came next followed by Dustin. The agents saw an office just above them. It was kind of different, because it was hanging out of the roof. There was a ladder leading up to it. So Todd motioned for Dustin and Steven to follow him. The ladder was in the shadows, so it was hard for them to be spotted. Todd went up and opened the door on the landing. He went into the office room, where he saw a man sitting in a chair. He crouched down and walked slowly to the man. When Steven and Dustin reached the top, the man suddenly turned around and spotted them, and immediately pulled out his handgun. Todd attacked him and punched him in the face, knocking the man out. The man fell with a vibrating clunk, and the people below them heard it. Todd took the man’s gun and ammo. He gave Steven the AK47 that he was carrying, and gave Dustin the beating stick that he had. Todd opened the door and threw the man out. The man hit the ground with a splatter. Just when he fell, guards suddenly surrounded the man and went up the ladder toward the three agents. Todd shot at every man that was coming up, and so did Steven. Men were hitting men, and falling to their deaths, but there were still men coming.

"I’m out!" yelled Steven.

Dustin reached into a drawer and got out a handgun for Steven. He through it at Steven and he caught it. He threw the AK47 at one man, and he fell, and that man hit another man making them both fall to their deaths.

Todd on the other hand, ran out of bullets and quickly loaded his weapon with the last clip that he had. He shot at every man that he saw, and killed every man there. Suddenly, a shot rang out and it shattered a window. The bullet was from one of the sniper nests. It missed Dustin by inches, and Dustin crouched down, avoiding any other bullets. Dustin had an idea. There was a hose just under him, and it could reach far. The hose was a fire hose. He tied the hose around him and jumped out the broken window.

"Keys!" yelled Dustin.

Steven looked at Dustin and threw him the car keys that he had. Dustin jumped out the window, but was ten feet short of the ground. He untied himself and hit the ground, hurting his leg. Dustin ran towards the dark part where the car was, and pushed the button on the key chain. The car appeared. He unlocked the door and jumped in. He turned on the car and drove it to the ladders. He jumped into the passenger seat, and activated the top gun. He used the joysticks to turn the gun turret. He pushed the red button on too and shot down a lot of people. The guards pointed their attention onto the car and started to shoot, but without avail. The car’s windows were bullet proof, and the car was armored. Dustin just kept shooting, until Steven and Todd could get down. The two agents ran toward the car. Steven jumped in after Todd.

Todd pointed to a door at the end of the mine. "That is the office where Isingler is. Ram him out!" said Todd.

Steven gunned the SUV and rammed the door. The door and the wall fell in, and Isingler turned around. He ran as the car was coming towards him. He ran passed the car and went to another car that was stashed in the shadows. A few other men got in. They sped off as Steven came after him. Just before leaving, Steven shot the control room, which it exploded, and sped off.

The agents, after the fleeing Isingler were going down an old dirt road.

Todd brought up the top turret and shot at the car, but he missed, because of all the bumps and turns in the old road. Steven shot the missiles, but he also missed.

A man popped out of Isingler’s car with an AK47 and started shooting. The bullet ricochet off, and Todd shot back, hitting the man. The man fell over and fell out of the car. The agents ran over the dead body when another man came out. Todd shot him too, and the same happened. Suddenly, they were on a cliff. This part of the road was a lot bumpier than the rest. Steven shot his side missiles that were located on the doors. The missiles were guided, but the missile missed slightly, but hitting the car’s right tires. The explosion took a chunk of the side of the road off and Isingler’s car fell back into the hole, teetering, almost going down into the rocky valley below. Isingler tried to get out, but Todd shot the gun turret and knocked out the rest of the rocks, sand, and dirt from under Isingler’s car. The car and Isingler fell into the valley and exploded.

***

Back at ADOC, Dustin was in the care of Tina, the doctor, and Angel the nurse. He was in good care. Paul told the agents that the UN secured the mine, and saved all the prisoners. Todd, Dustin, and Steven were awarded a medal, and were put on leave for two weeks. Paul got a date with Angel, and that is THE END
