Power Script

A Poem by Mike Goodwin
"

Observing the hypocrites, mingle with the good people we meet.

"
When you put things down on paper,
There are no missteps.
The use of language
Is explanatory.
It is thinking, but to another level.
A level that has advantage over bare craniums.
A level that makes triggers,
Visual cues.
A level that allows unconscious repetition,
And therefore, new pathways of imagination.
A level that is actually expressed.
A more forceful identity than words.
A level that can be appreciated,
On so many levels.
On elusive occasion.
It is really not that much.
Pen to paper.
Paper to pen.
But it has carried so many thinkers,
To stardom or to healing.
Giving thoughts true life.
Harboring the feeling.
It is strong.
And I'm a stranger to reality.
Others reality.
The business of the mother's womb.
The business of the air we breathe.
The business of identity.
