I waited alone for you night after night.

While you were with another girl, I whatched

your baby sleep at night.

Does she know why I left you?

That you broke my heart in two.

That you didn't pay the rent.

And you never even cared.

Does she know why I left you?

While we were homeless, living at your mothers,

you stayed in her bed.

You had a place to live.

I bet if she knew why I left you, then she would

leave you too!

What a great title for a GREAT poem! I felt your pain and I can sooo relate, as I'm sure most of us can. What goes around comes around, he'll get his and you'll move on. You sucked me right in with the title and held me until the last word. It brought back memories and old feelings too. I love poetry that can do that. This is awesome! great job!
