I gave up, I went crashing
Through this heart, life went flashing
Try to remember me today
As thunder strikes the sin in me
Break my fall, hear my crying
Soak my scars, in the tears I'm fighting
The fear inside I cannot hide
I'm running through an endless night

Of who I was and who I am
And who I know
I should be
For my pain will wash away

I've drifted from, settled waters
A splash of guilt, no doubt follows

Reflections of a man in pain
All that remains, is my soul engulfed in flames
Life started with a splash, now ripples away
I stumble over this winding road
Puddles of grief everywhere I go
